BANJA LUKA, JUNE 18 /SRNA/ – Ana Trišić Babić, acting director of the Office for International Cooperation of Republika Srpska, pointed out that while the stage is where actors bring stories to life, it also offers audiences a sense of magic, excitement and immense enjoyment.
"Some evenings remind us why we love theater, and last night at Kastel, with Mamma Mia!, was exactly such an occasion. The Terazije Theatre gave Banja Luka an evening filled with emotion, energy and that special touch of nostalgia carried by the timeless songs of ABBA," Trišić Babić said.
In a post on X, she noted that the audience responded with sincere, enthusiastic and prolonged applause.
"Teatar Fest has become a brand not only of our city and Republika Srpska, but an event that is spoken and written about across the region in the highest regard," she stressed.
The summer stage at Kastel Fortress hosted Belgrade's Terazije Theatre last night, which performed the musical Mamma Mia! as part of Teatar Fest. More than 140 artists on stage, impressive scenery and ABBA's timeless hits created a unique open-air atmosphere in Banja Luka.
