TRIŠIĆ BABIĆ PRESENTS GIFT TO FIRST NEWBORN IN SRPSKA, SENDS WISHES TO FAMILY

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 1 /SRNA/ – The Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić Babić congratulated the birth of Danijela Dakanović, the first baby born in Republika Srpska in the new year 2026, and wished her mother a speedy recovery.

The first baby in Republika Srpska was born at the Doboj maternity hospital at midnight.

The Acting President of Republika Srpska presented the newborn with a gold ducat.

"I wish baby Danijela a life filled with health and happiness, and that she grows into a good person and a responsible citizen of Republika Srpska, to the pride of her parents, family, and society as a whole," Trišić Babić stated.

On behalf of the Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić Babić, and due to the worsening epidemiological situation, the gold ducat for the first baby born in 2026 was presented by the Deputy Director of the ‘Sveti Apostol Luka’ Hospital in Doboj, Siniša Marić, the Office of the Acting President announced.
