BANJA LUKA, APRIL 27 /SRNA/ – The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić has stated that the protection of freedom of thought and speech must be inviolable, adding that he expects a clear stance on the issue from the National Assembly.

Minić stressed that it must not be allowed for people from Republika Srpska to be prosecuted for expressing their opinions.

"We are facing increasingly frequent criminal proceedings that encroach on freedom of speech and impose a revision of history. While some are prosecuted for their words, others remain without verdicts despite serious evidence. Republika Srpska will provide a clear institutional response", Minić wrote on X.

Today, in Banja Luka, Minić attended the conference titled "Criminal Prosecution as an Instrument of Historical Revision - Endangering Freedom of Thought and Speech through the Rulings of the Court of BiH".
