TERME OZREN BUILDING NEW FACILITY WORTH BAM 12 MILLION

PETROVO, SEPTEMBER 23 /SRNA/ - The Terme Ozren complex in Kakmuž, in the municipality of Petrovo, is building a facility worth BAM 12 million, which, with a medical block, a celebration hall and new accommodation facilities, will enable this recreational and tourist center to become much more competitive.

The new facility will cover 5,800 square meters, and the opening ceremony is scheduled for March 2028.

Owner of Terme Ozren Dragiša Milojević said that the construction of the new facility would expand the complex's capacities.

"I call on all people living abroad to follow my example and invest and build in our country," Milojević said.

Petrovo Municipal Mayor Ozren Petković said that this was a major day for the municipality of Petrovo as well as for the entire region, and announced that the Municipal Administration would, within its capabilities, support the investor through various incentives.

He also recalled the recent visit by Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić, when talks were held on resolving water supply problems at Terme Ozren as well as throughout the "Sočkovac" Business Zone.

Terme Ozren Director Zoran Jurošević said that the construction of the new facility, together with the expansion and improvement of the complex's offer, would enable it to become more competitive and meet growing demand.

He noted that capacities had been consistently fully booked throughout this year and last year.

The new facility will have a basement, ground floor and four upper floors.

A multifunctional event hall is planned on the ground floor, while a modern medical block covering approximately 800 square meters will be located on the first floor.

The remaining three floors will accommodate 45 new accommodation units with 160 beds.

Upon completion of the investment, Terme Ozren will significantly increase its existing accommodation capacity of 64 rooms and apartments with a total of 200 beds.

The construction of the new facility will provide Terme Ozren with additional healthcare tourism facilities, space for organizing various events, as well as a significantly larger number of accommodation units, further improving the offer of this tourism and healthcare complex.

Construction of the new facility was officially launched yesterday with the consecration and laying of the foundation stone, the Municipal Administration said.
