TAX POLICY - OPPORTUNITY FOR INVESTMENT IN SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, MAY 21 /SRNA/ – The leadership of the Investment and Development Bank /IDB/ of Republika Srpska presented investment projects and opportunities to invest in Srpska through favorable tax policies in the Chinese city of Ningbo, ahead of the International China–Central and Eastern European Countries /CEEC/ Expo.

The Business Forum brought together entrepreneurs from various countries participating in the international expo, with investment opportunities in Srpska showcased to economic experts and businesspeople from China, Central, and Eastern Europe.

The high-level organization of the forum enabled direct contact between participants, allowing the exchange of relevant information and discussions on potential business cooperation between entrepreneurs from China and across Central and Eastern Europe.

The business meeting primarily featured addresses by representatives and business leaders from the city of Ningbo and China. Among the high-ranking officials from the region who had the honor of addressing the attendees was Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac, according to a statement from IDB.

Through the agenda and various panels, topics highlighting the importance of the China–CEEC Expo, cross-border cooperation, and the necessary legal framework were discussed.

Distinguished experts and high-ranking officials from Poland, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, and representatives of major Chinese corporations also spoke at the business meeting.

The IRB delegation is led by Acting Director Srđan Jovanović, Acting Executive Director Zlatko Popović, and Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Sector Zoran Talić.

IDB representatives are participating in the expo as part of the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, led by Minister Staša Košarac, with full support from the BiH Ambassador to China Siniša Berjan.

The international product expo China–CEEC Expo will take place from tomorrow until Sunday, May 25.
