BANJA LUKA, November 29 /SRNA/ - Immovable property belongs to Republika Srpska, which is confirmed by the constitutions of Srpska and BiH, as well as by the substantive legal acts adopted by the National Assembly regulating real property on the territory of Republika Srpska, said Dragan Stanković, Director of the Republic Administration for Geodetic and Property-Legal Affairs /RUGIPP/.
"Under the Constitution of BiH, Annex Four of the Dayton Peace Agreement, Article Three clearly stipulates that all governmental functions and powers not expressly assigned to the institutions of BiH belong to the entities," Stanković emphasized.
He added that immovable property located in the territory of the Federation of BiH /FBiH/, in accordance with the Constitutions of BiH and the Federation, belongs to the Federation.
The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH will consider the Draft Law on State Property under regular procedure, since the session held on Thursday, November 27, did not result in an entity majority required for urgent or expedited consideration.
The proposers of the law are MPs Jasmin Emrić, Šemsudin Mehmedović, Aida Baručija, and Elvis Hodžić.
