STANIŠIĆ AND IGOR DODIK HELPED TEODORA DRINJAK CONTINUE STUDIES IN BANJA LUKA

PALE, SEPTEMBER 16 /SRNA/ - After SRNA published the story of student Teodora Drinjak from Pale, who decided to continue her studies in Banja Luka due to disciplinary proceedings at the university in Sarajevo, MP Aco Stanišić and SNSD organisational secretary Igor Dodik helped her family.

Stanišć contacted Teodora's family and offered help, and he has already taken concrete steps to enable her to continue her studies from October.

Support for Teodora's continued studies was also provided by Igor Dodik, who will provide her with accommodation during her stay and continuation of studies in Banja Luka.

Drinjak told SRNA that Stanišić contacted the dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the University of Banja Luka, professor Saša Čvor, who expressed his willingness to resolve all necessary procedures for her transfer and continuation of education as soon as possible.

She thanked Igor Dodik, MP Stanišić and Dean Čvor for support, stressing that it means a lot to her and her family at this moment, especially she will also be on a budget.

"My family was contacted this morning, after my story was published, by MP Aco Stanišić and made himself available for everything needed to continue my education in Banja Luka. Stanišić will personally provide a scholarship during my stay in Banja Luka," says Drinjakova.

She emphasizes that this is an extremely important support for her.

Drinjak thanked numerous fellow citizens and people who contacted her and offered words of support after her story was published.

"Instead of celebrating the last exam passed, because of other people's hatred I am forced to start almost from the beginning, which is an experience I would not wish to anyone. Fortunately, there are people who restore faith in people," said Drinjak, who hopes that this will be the beginning of a much nicer story.

Drinjak previously told SRNA she decided to continue her studies in Banja Luka after disciplinary proceedings were initiated against her at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Sarajevo due to a post on her private account on social media.

She published the verse of the song "General - Let your mother be thanked", written in Cyrillic, which bothered her colleagues.

Drinjak successfully completed the third year of the Geodesy and Geoinformatics study programme, and now, with the support she received, she will continue her education in Banja Luka.
