SRPSKA HAS THREE SUPERPOWERS ON ITS SIDE

BANJA LUKA, MAY 31 /SRNA/ – Professor Nenad Kecmanović assessed that the international constellation regarding Republika Srpska has never been more favorable, because it has three superpowers on its side – Russia, China, and the USA.

"To a greater or lesser extent, all the main players on the world stage are on the side of Republika Srpska, but that does not mean it has already won," Kecmanović said at the panel discussion "Geostrategic Direction of Srpska," which was broadcast on RTRS.

He pointed out that what happens in Republika Srpska is important to America, stating that sanctions have been lifted and that President Milorad Dodik stepped down from a formally more important function in order to retain an informally stronger function as the head of the ruling party.

"Some said that a concession should be expected from our side, but in fact, there were several moves from the American side; that process is continuing, it is progressing," Kecmanović assessed.

As examples, he cited Dodik's visits to America, the recognition he received there, as well as the arrival of Donald Trump Jr. in Banja Luka.
