BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 23 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska unanimously condemns the brutal terrorist attacks carried out against Israel three years ago and stands in full solidarity with the victims, survivors, and all innocent families affected by the violence, President Milorad Dodik said.
In a letter to Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, Dodik said that since October 7, 2023, Republika Srpska has supported the State of Israel's right to defend itself, as well as all global initiatives against terrorism.
"Dear Mr. Gideon Sa'ar, with deep compassion for the people and institutions of the State of Israel, we remember the horrific terrorist attack in which, unfortunately, so many innocent people were killed, and many others were taken hostage," Dodik said.
The Palace of the Republic in Banjaluka was illuminated last night in memory of the Israeli victims and as a sign of solidarity with the Israeli people, marking three years since Hamas' terrorist attack on Israel.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched an incursion and rocket attack on Israeli territory. Around 1,200 people in Israel were killed, and Hamas militants took more than 250 Israelis hostage.
