BIJELJINA, AUGUST 6 /SRNA/ – Members of the Srbadija Serbian Singing Society /SPD/ from Bijeljina have travelled to Helsingborg, Sweden, where they will take part in the 14th World Choir Games from Aug. 6 to 16, one of the world's most prestigious international choral competitions.
Srbadija will compete in the Champions Competition, the highest level of the event, open only to choirs that meet special eligibility criteria and have earned direct qualification through their artistic quality, achievements and many years of work.
The Bijeljina choir`s participation in this prestigious event marks a significant achievement for Srbadija and provides an opportunity to promote the city of Bijeljina and the cultural heritage of the region on the international stage.
Financial support for the choir`s participation in the World Choir Games was provided by the City of Bijeljina, recognizing the importance of the performance in preserving and promoting musical tradition and cultural heritage, Srbadija said in a statement.
During their stay in Sweden, the choir members will present the richness of Serbian choral music and tradition, while also promoting their hometown and the culture of the region to audiences and participants from around the world.
Participation in the World Choir Games is another confirmation of the quality and reputation that Srbadija has built over decades through its commitment to choral music and the promotion of Bijeljina`s musical culture.
