SMART-HOUSE CHEESE FACTORY UNDER CONSTRUCTION ON MAJEVICA

LOPARE, DECEMBER 8 /SRNA/ – Vaso Vasić from Lopare, who lives and works in Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates, is building a cheese factory in Tobut designed according to smart-house principles.

A ceremony was held to mark the completion of the building’s structural phase, during which investor Vasić thanked everyone who contributed to the successful progress of the project, the municipal administration announced.

“If the capacity of local companies and overall logistics remain at a good level, something I was assured of by Mayor Rade Savić and the contractors, I expect the first products from the cheese factory to appear next year,” Vasić said.

His farm “Agrovisočnik” in Lipovice, founded together with his business partner Miloš Bošković, a returnee from South Africa, has already reached its planned capacity in terms of the number of goats.

“We currently produce several types of goat cheese in small, experimental batches. In about a year, once the factory—built as a smart house and under the highest ecological standards—is operational, we hope to begin full-scale production and become a leader in BiH,” Vasić emphasized.

In the Emirates, Vaso Vasić owns a private company within a group specializing in marine installation works, including port construction and coastal infrastructure.

The company employs 350 people and, in addition to the UAE, operates on projects in Oman, Kenya, and Uganda.
