PALE, AUGUST 15 /SRNA/ – Member of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Damjan Škipina warned that holding early elections in Republika Srpska would represent a threat to the survival of Republika Srpska and an introduction to the absolute dictatorship of Christian Schmidt.
Škipina told SRNA that anyone who agrees to holding early elections would be signing a death sentence for Republika Srpska, as such elections would mark the end of its autonomy granted by the Dayton Agreement.
"These elections, orchestrated by Christian Schmidt, who has done everything to politically remove the leader of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, would be nothing but the most dangerous blow to the very foundations of Republika Srpska," Škipina underlined.
He reminded that this is a German who wants to change the curriculum in schools in Republika Srpska, to seize our property and allocate it to whomever and however he pleases, to control our rights and lives, and to decide who can be president and who cannot, completely excluding the people's right to independently choose their political representatives.
"If Schmidt is allowed to carry out everything he has planned after initiating and participating in the adoption of the shameful political verdict against the President of the Republic, there will be no Republika Srpska anymore. Everybody in Srpska needs to think about this, for the sake of both present and future generations, as well as for the sake of the victims who built their lives and body parts into the foundations of Republika Srpska. Anyone who is ready to embark on the shameful path towards the destruction of Republika Srpska must be aware that they have placed themselves among the worst traitors!" Škipina stressed.
