BANJA LUKA, APRIL 14 /SRNA/ – Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Banja Luka Vlade Simović is hoping that the new government in Hungary will continue the cooperation with Republika Srpska established by the government of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
"However, it is certain that the level of cooperation, i.e. the political and economic ties between Republika Srpska and Hungary, will not reach the level that existed during Orbán's government," Simović said.
He emphasized that during his term as Hungarian prime minister, Orbán proved to be a committed friend of the Serb people.
"He was extremely willing to cooperate with and assist Republika Srpska, both politically and economically," Simović added.
The opposition Tisza Party won the elections in Hungary, securing 138 out of 199 seats in parliament.
