SIGN INSTALLED FOR STREET NAMED AFTER MILAN DIMIĆ

DOBOJ, AUGUST 19 /SRNA/ - A street sign was installed in Doboj today for a street that will be named after Milan Dimić, a member of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior who was killed in the battle to defend the city on St. Peter’s Day, July 12, 1992.

Milan Dimić Street begins at the intersection of Silvana Armenulić Street and Doboj Brigades Street and ends at Vidovdanska Street, the City Administration said.

The initiative to name the street after Dimić was launched by the Doboj War Veterans Organisation and was approved by the City Assembly.

Dimić was buried in Serbia.
