ŠERANIĆ: GOVERNMENT APPROVES FINAL AGREEMENT ON "KOMSAR" TAKEOVER

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 6 /SRNA/ – The Government of Republika Srpska has given its consent to the final agreement under which the company Gas-Res will take over Komsar, Deputy Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Alen Šeranić said.

At a press conference following the Government session, Šeranić stated that there had previously been two preliminary agreements that were implemented, and that the Government today approved the proposal to authorize a change in the ownership structure of the concessionaire Komsar Energy Republika Srpska.

He said the Government also adopted a decision declaring the Cvrcka Canyon in the municipality of Kneževo a natural monument, as well as the management plan for the Ledena Cave natural monument in the municipality of Ribnik.

"The total share of protected areas in Republika Srpska is increasing, and we now have more than three percent of the territory under Government protection," said Šeranić, who also serves as Minister of Health and Social Welfare.

He added that the Government approved the Statute of the Institute for Dialysis and Transplantation of Republika Srpska, a new institution that will take over activities currently managed by a private partner.
