BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 9 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Justice Minister Goran Selak said today in Banja Luka that the BiH Prosecutor's Office and Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić should examine whether Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković violated the law governing this area with his latest decision concerning officials of the Serbian Embassy in BiH.
"Everything needs to be investigated, because it is possible that Konaković, by exceeding his authority, committed a criminal offense. For this reason, I call on the BiH Prosecutor’s Office to open a case," Selak said at a press conference.
He said that Konaković cannot represent BiH, and especially not Republika Srpska.
"Konaković knows how the military attaché of any country is appointed in BiH. The Council of Ministers appoints them, and that makes everything clear," Selak stressed.
Konaković announced yesterday that he had decided to declare Serbian Embassy Military Attaché Milan Dulanović and adviser to a representative of the Security-Information Agency /BIA/ Danko Maksimović persona non grata, giving them 48 hours to leave BiH.
