BANJA LUKA, JULY 17 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated that Christian Schmidt is not the High Representative, that he has no right to make decisions, that everything he does is harmful, that he is destroying BiH, and that this represents the collapse of European policy.
Dodik emphasized that Schmidt is not acting in the interest of European policy and that it's a lie that they want to build BiH as an EU country.
"The concentration of unlawful decisions points to the failure of the EU, and it raises an important question: is there any point in dealing with European matters at all?" Dodik said, adding that a decision on this will be made soon.
He emphasized that the European path had been undermined the most by European countries themselves, and by the Brussels administration, which allowed individuals to contaminate the entire decision-making system in BiH, including decisions regarding the funds of the BiH Central Bank.
"The Fiscal Council was introduced as a non-constitutional body. It was imposed and decides how certain funds are to be allocated. Without its decision, not a single budget in BiH can be adopted," Dodik said at a press conference.
He added that BiH is the only country with a democratic label where the rules of the elections are determined by someone other than the election participants themselves.
He said that the system now being pushed was previously attempted in Germany but was immediately abandoned, and there are indications that the equipment was imported to BiH a few years ago in a way that benefited certain individuals at the expense of BiH.
He also questioned why Schmidt keeps referring to citizens, emphasizing that BiH consists of two entities and three constituent peoples.
This morning, Schmidt imposed a decision in the case of the Slovenian company Vijadukt, which stipulates that funds from excise taxes will be taken from the single account, specifically from the portion that belongs to Republika Srpska, as well as a decision obliging the BiH Central Bank to provide funding for new technologies in the election process.
