ROSTEC PROGRAMS INTRODUCED TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 21 /SRNA/ – Enrollment programs of the Russian state corporation Rostec will be presented in the coming days to final-year high school students in Banja Luka, Doboj, Istočno Sarajevo and Trebinje, the Republika Srpska Ministry of Education and Culture announced.

Today, in Banja Luka, the Minister of Education and Culture Borivoje Golubović met with a Russian delegation to discuss the importance of further developing cooperation in education, scientific research and the application of new technologies, aimed at preparing future students from Republika Srpska.

Golubović held talks with representatives of Rostec and the rector of Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

Special emphasis was placed on the enrollment programs of Rostec and Bauman University, as well as more than 100 Russian higher education institutions, which enable students from Republika Srpska to continue their education.

“The goal is to train future students from Republika Srpska and facilitate their employment in engineering and production technology sectors within Republika Srpska,” the statement said.

It was highlighted at the meeting that this cooperation enables students to study free of charge at some of the most prestigious universities in the Russian Federation, with scholarships and accommodation in student dormitories provided.

The meeting also reaffirmed a commitment to strengthening partnership relations between Republika Srpska and Russia, as well as the good and continuous cooperation in the fields of education, science and technology.
