ROD BLAGOJEVICH ARRIVES IN GACKO, MANY RESIDENTS WELCOMES HIM OUTSIDE CHURCH

GACKO, JUNE 25 /SRNA/ – Rod Blagojevich, former governor of the US state of Illinois and close associate of U.S. President Donald Trump, arrived in Gacko for a visit, during which he will tour the village of Miholjače, where his mother originates from.

A ceremonial welcome took place in the square outside the Holy Trinity Church, where he was welcomed by the municipal leadership of Gacko, clergy, and numerous residents.

Blagojevich met with local officials at the Municipal Administration to discuss topics of importance to Gacko. Afterward, he will visit the church and be informed about the progress of its construction.

The next stop on his visit is the village of Miholjače, from where Blagojevich's mother hails. A press briefing is scheduled for 13:30 in Miholjače.

Blagojević arrived in Republika Srpska on Sunday, July 22, at the invitation of the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik.

Over the past few days, Blagojevich has met with top officials of Republika Srpska, to whom he has offered strong support.

After his meeting with the President of Republika Srpska, Blagojevich stated that he would inform US President Donald Trump about the situation in Srpska, whose rights, he said, are being threatened by an unappointed bureaucrat.
