BANJA LUKA, MARCH 24 /SRNA/ – The national jiu-jitsu team of Republika Srpska achieved a historic success at the European Championship in Crete, winning nine medals in competition with 1,700 athletes from 31 countries, the Banja Luka-based Jiu-Jitsu Club Borac announced.
Filip Šantić won a gold medal at the recently held European Championship, while Milica Panić claimed silver.
Notable performances were also delivered by Galina Knežević and Lena Jovičić from the same Banja Luka club, who showed that a great future lies ahead of them.
"Nine medals, one heart and enormous pride - Srpska Team!" the Banja Luka-based Jiu-Jitsu Club Borac said.
