SRBAC, SEPTEMBER 2 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić says Republika Srpska is carrying out major investments despite claims that it is isolated and will not be able to pay salaries and pensions.
"From being told that you are isolated, that Republika Srpska is finished, that you will not be able to pay salaries and pensions, you reach a situation where the investment in the rehabilitation of the Srbac–Derventa road, worth more than BAM 30 million, is supposed to go unnoticed because some people have now appeared who want to punish us," Minić told the press in Srbac.
He stressed that this was precisely why he had been ironic when referring to the "unknown perpetrator" who implemented an investment worth more than BAM 30 million, namely, the construction of a new and modern 41-kilometre road.
"That unknown perpetrator is still working, building more than 350 kilometres of roads in Republika Srpska," Minić stressed.
He said that Republika Srpska residents have the right to celebrate successes and achievements.
"We all know what we mean, but we will not be so naïve as to allow someone to punish us. Republika Srpska is in the midst of a huge investment cycle and, to the pride of all of us, as people we have the right to celebrate every one of our successes," Minić said.
