TREBINJE, MARCH 3 /SRNA/ - Trebinje Mayor Mirko Ćurić hosted a reception today for the cast and crew of the short film "Nuances," which addresses peer violence, and pledged support to the talented young fellow residents in their future projects.

The film has sparked strong reactions from audiences in Trebinje and is the result of the work of young authors who attend acting classes led by Željko Milošević at the Small Things cultural venue.

Ćurić emphasized that they have sent a clear and courageous message that peer violence exists in their community as well, but that there is also a way to confront this problem.

"It is important that we all react and do not turn a blind eye to the problem. I thank the parents and schools who supported this project, and the City Administration will stand by them in their future ideas as well," Ćurić told reporters after the reception.

Director Ivo Karadžić Neveš thanked the mayor and everyone who supported the project, noting that the film aims to encourage young people to recognize and report violence on time.

"It means a great deal to us that the audience and our peers have recognized the effort we put into this. We plan to screen the film in other cities across Republika Srpska, and we are already thinking about a new project," Neveš said.

In addition to Neveš, the film stars Dušan Sušić, who also wrote the screenplay, Viktor Joksimović, Mihajlo Sparavalo, Luka Gurović, Anđela Pejović, Nađa Jokanović, and Darko Kurtović. The cinematographer is Damjan Rikalo.

Due to strong audience interest, a repeat screening of the film has been scheduled for tomorrow at 18:00 at the cinema of the Cultural Centre. Admission is free.
