ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, APRIL 8 /SRNA/ – Increased interest from American investors in Republika Srpska is already visible, and a further inflow of capital can be expected in the coming period, said President of the Republika Srpska Chamber of Commerce Goran Račić.
Račić noted that the Chamber of Commerce has recently intensified contacts with business circles from the United States, and that discussions have covered several key sectors, including energy, infrastructure, hospitality, and real estate.
"A message has been sent to American investors, and it will certainly provide a new impetus, so we can expect a significantly larger number of investors from the United States in the coming period," Račić told reporters.
He said that previous activities, including visits by foreign delegations and direct contacts with businesspeople, have contributed to improving Republika Srpska's image in business circles.
According to him, it is particularly significant that investor interest is already reflected through concrete financial activities, such as investments in securities issued on international markets.
Račić stressed that sustainable economic growth requires long-term development of the business environment and its alignment with the needs of foreign investors, in order to make Republika Srpska competitive and attractive for new investments.
