BANJA LUKA, MARCH 10 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska Ned Puhovac said that a regulation will be introduced to limit traders' margins after it was determined that some had reached as much as 300 percent, which he said has made him angry.
Puhovac stressed that the regulation, which will be prepared by the ministry, will attempt to regulate how traders respond to increases in fuel prices.
"I think that within about ten days we will complete everything and submit it to the Government of Republika Srpska for procedure. We will do everything to make it easier for the population to get through this crisis," said Ned Puhovac.
He specified that the margins will be limited in accordance with the findings of the inspection, which determined that some margins reach as high as 300 percent.
"I am angry with traders. Why are they using this moment? There is no reason for it. In two weeks, this regulation will go to the Government, and it will certainly adopt it. We are talking about basic foodstuffs, oil, sugar, flour, and some household chemicals," Puhovac said.
