PRESSURE ON SERBS IN JOINT INSTITUTIONS, SRPSKA READY TO HELP THEM

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 26 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik said, after several groups of Serbs employed in the joint institutions in Sarajevo complained to him about pressure from the Muslim-Bosniak component, that Republika Srpska was ready to provide protection to every Serb working in the joint institutions.

“I spoke with several groups of our people who work in the joint institutions in Sarajevo, and every one of them complained about the unbearable atmosphere and pressure created by the Muslim-Bosniak component,” Dodik said.

Although they work in different institutions, Dodik stressed that the machinations, pressure and provocations they face are the same.

Dodik said that, when he called on them to speak out publicly and describe what was happening to them, they unanimously said they were afraid for their positions and that doing so would make their lives even more difficult.

“I told them that they are professionals, but also representatives of the Serb people, and that they hold those positions primarily because those positions belong to Republika Srpska. I made it clear that all those institutions equally belong to the Serb people, that imposing anyone’s will is completely unacceptable, and that they are not obliged to tolerate anyone’s abuse,” Dodik wrote on X.

He stressed that Republika Srpska stands behind every Serb from Republika Srpska working in the joint institutions and is ready to provide them with any protection they need.
