BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 19 /SRNA/ – Today, Banja Luka police have arrested three local residents identified by the initials N.V., D.H. and E.C. and seized around four kilograms of marijuana, about 55 grams of hashish, several precision digital scales, multiple mobile phones and approximately BAM 18,000 in various denominations and currencies.
The suspects were arrested in an operation code-named "Trainer" on suspicion of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs, the Banja Luka Police Department said.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor's Office. Acting on orders issued by the Banja Luka District Court and with the prior approval of the prosecutor handling the case, police searched five locations.
Police also found and seized a drug-production laboratory with complete equipment, as well as 30 plants resembling cannabis.
Criminal processing of the suspects is ongoing, while all investigative measures are being carried out under the supervision of the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor's Office.
Once the case has been fully documented, N.V., D.H. and E.C. will be handed over to the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor's Office along with a report alleging the criminal offense.
