PEŠIĆ VISITS BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION, PRESENTED WITH GOLD BADGE

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 4 /SRNA/ - Renowned basketball coach Svetislav Pešić visited the Basketball Association of Republika Srpska today, where he was presented with the Association's Gold Badge in recognition of his immeasurable contribution to the development, promotion and success of Serbian basketball.
Association Head Milan Đajić said that the visit by a coach of such stature and sporting prominence was an honour for the Association.

"The visit also carried a special personal and sporting symbolism for the Association's Secretary-General Bogdan Stanojević, whom Pešić coached at one point, while Stanojević was the first coach of his son Marko," Đajić said.

The Basketball Association said that this was also the first visit by such a prominent figure to the Association's new premises.
