PASSOVER CARRIES MESSAGE OF VALUES THAT SHAPED FATE OF JEWS AND SERBS

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 31 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik extended greetings to the people of Israel and Jews worldwide on the upcoming major holiday of Passover, that, as he stressed, reminds us of values that have shaped the fate of both the Jewish and Serb peoples throughout history.

“Passover reminds us of the values of freedom, perseverance and faith in justice - values that have shaped the destiny of both the Jewish and Serb peoples,” Dodik noted.

He emphasized that throughout the centuries, the Serb and Jewish peoples have shared difficult moments of suffering, but also the strength to preserve their identity, faith and dignity.

“Therefore, Passover is not only a holiday of remembrance, but also a message of hope that freedom, truth and unity ultimately prevail. That is why Israel will prevail now as well. Hag Pesach Sameach,” Dodik wrote on X.

Passover, the most important Jewish holiday, is a movable holiday that always falls in spring. It marks the exodus of the Jews from slavery in Egypt under the leadership of Moses, as described in the Torah, or the Old Testament.
