PARTICIPATION AT A FAIR IN RUSSIA BOOSTS SRPSKA'S INTERNATIONAL PROFILE

BANJA LUKA, JULY 6 /SRNA/ – Participation in international events such as the INNOPROM International Industrial Trade Fair in Yekaterinburg, attended by Republika Srpska Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Đokić, provides an important opportunity for direct dialogue, continued international engagement, stronger global visibility for Republika Srpska and the promotion of its development potential in the energy sector.

"Active participation in dialogue with key stakeholders further contributes to strengthening cooperation and creating opportunities for new investments and projects of strategic importance for Republika Srpska," the line ministry said in a statement.

As part of his working visit to the Russian Federation and the INNOPROM International Industrial Trade Fair, Đokić today attended the plenary session, "Industry 360: Manufacturing Without Borders," which focused on industrial digitalization, the application of artificial intelligence in manufacturing, robotics and automation and the integration of manufacturing, logistics and sales into unified industrial ecosystems.

The session featured addresses by the prime ministers of Russia, Belarus, Armenia and Kazakhstan. Discussions also covered reducing production costs through smart technologies, developing global supply chains and industrial cooperation, as well as the latest technologies and trends in the energy sector.

Participants emphasized the importance of stronger and more stable market connectivity and closer economic ties as prerequisites for implementing major infrastructure and energy projects.

Đokić will continue his visit to Russia tomorrow with a meeting with Vyacheslav Yuryevich Yarin, Minister for International and Foreign Economic Relations of Sverdlovsk Region.
