OPPORTUNITY FOR NEW INVESTORS

VLASENICA, JUNE 22 /SRNA/ – The gasification of the eastern part of Republika Srpska will accelerate the development of Vlasenica, create new jobs, and improve the quality of life for residents, Miroslav Kraljević, Mayor of Vlasenica, stated for SRNA.

Kraljević said that his goal is for the municipality of Vlasenica to move forward and become one of the more developed local communities, noting that gasification will undoubtedly speed up that process.

He reminded that nearly two-thirds of the municipality will be covered by the gas pipeline. One branch is coming from the direction of Šekovići, through Jakovica and further toward Milići, Bratunac, and Srebrenica, while the other branch will extend toward the Igrišta Ski Center, Han Pijesak, and, as planned, to Trebinje.

Kraljević emphasized that the implementation of the third phase of the gasification project in eastern Republika Srpska is one of the most promising projects, bringing multiple benefits.

He expressed confidence that the work will progress according to plan and that the area will be connected to the main gas pipeline within a year to a year and a half.

Kraljević noted that many households in Vlasenica currently rely on wood and coal, stressing the importance of connecting all institutions and households to gas, which is an environmentally friendly energy source that will help protect the environment.

He thanked everyone who contributed to the launch of the gasification project, especially Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister Radovan Višković, the company “Sarajevo-gas,” and the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Srpska.
