BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 23 /SRNA/ – The Minister of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska, Petar Đokić, has stated in Belgrade that it is extremely important that, on the very first day of the Partner 2025 Arms and Military Equipment Fair, companies from Srpska were notably presented and recognized as potentially competitive with major global defense manufacturers.

Đokić told journalists that companies from Republika Srpska, such as Kosmos from Banja Luka, Orao from Bijeljina, and Technical Repair Bratunac /TRB/, received significant attention, highlighting the government's support for the development of the defense industry.

"It is very important for us that our domestic companies, which are highly significant for Republika Srpska, such as Kosmos, Orao, and TRB, are present here. We see that they have notable booths and product groups to showcase at the Fair and compete with major global defense manufacturers," Đokić said after visiting the Srpska exhibitors.

He emphasized that it is particularly significant that some of the Srpska manufacturers, especially TRB, have reached this level of development.

"By visiting our exhibitors and this Fair, we want to provide even more encouragement, to motivate our domestic defense industry to continue developing new technologies and strengthening its market position," Đokić said.

He noted that it is important to recognize what else the Government of Republika Srpska can do to support the development of this sector.

"Everything on display at the Partner 2025 Arms and Military Equipment Fair is impressive. The number of exhibitors is very high, even record-breaking, including many from abroad," Đokić said.

The International Arms and Military Equipment Fair “Partner 2025” opened in Belgrade today, with over 200 exhibitors from more than 30 countries participating.

In addition to Đokić, the opening was attended by the Minister of Interior of Republika Srpska Željko Budimir and the Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship Vojin Mitrović.

Exhibitors at the Fair include companies from China, Russia, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Belarus, Italy, Turkiye, India, and Iran.

The event is sponsored by the Ministry of Defense of Serbia and will continue until Thursday, September 25.
