MRKONJIĆ GRAD RESIDENTS ENJOY CRAFT BEER TASTING

MRKONJIĆ GRAD, JULY 17 /SRNA/ - The "Craft Beer Night" event was held this evening in Mrkonjić Grad, where craft breweries from this local community and Banja Luka presented their products.

Owner of the Mrkonjić Grad craft brewery "Varcar", Jugoslav Župić, said that this is the third time they have organised the event to allow citizens to try craft beers, enjoy good music, and taste local barbecue.

Župić said that his brewery has been operating for ten years and that they offer several types of beer, adding that they are generally able to place most of their production on the market.

The owner of the "Gorštak" craft brewery from Banja Luka, Nikola Galić, said that they are also celebrating their tenth anniversary this year and that they have produced a special beer to mark the occasion.

"We produce unfiltered beers that we distribute mainly in Banja Luka, but also throughout BiH. The business is quite demanding; we invest a lot of love and effort and strive to be authentic and maintain high quality," Galić explained.

The "Craft Beer Night" event was held as part of "Mrkonjić Summer". It was organised by the "Petar Kočić" Cultural and Sports Centre in cooperation with the "Varcar" craft brewery, with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Mrkonjić Grad.
