MRKAJIĆ: OPPOSITION IN SRPSKA RISKS DISAPPEARING COMPLETELY FROM THE POLITICAL SCENE

BRATUNAC, AUGUST 14 /SRNA/ – In a decisive time for Republika Srpska, the opposition risks completely disappearing from the political scene, because their boycott of the referendum and their advocacy for holding early elections would confirm that they have given legitimacy to Christian Schmidt and Bosniak politicians to take away from the Serb people their institutions, rights, property, and ultimately the entire Republika Srpska, the president of the SNSD in Bratunac, Marko Mrkajić, told SRNA.

Mrkajić pointed out that the opposition’s insistence on the political removal of the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, the strongest leader not only in Republika Srpska but also in the whole of BiH, and their acceptance of a politically fabricated verdict, leads only to their defeat and a decline in their ratings, because the people of Republika Srpska in no case like collaborators of occupiers and colonizers who are ready to erase Srpska with a single stroke.

Mrkajić reminded that in the last elections President Dodik won the trust of more than 300,000 people, and that today this number is significantly higher. He emphasized that the opposition parties’ field trips into nature and attempts to form certain movements are in vain, because the 2026. elections will also be marked by the SNSD and President Milorad Dodik.

While the opposition hopes for the political elimination of the President of the Republic, since there is no other way for them to defeat the SNSD and President Dodik, Mrkajić says that Bosniak politicians are, in the meantime, believing in some new Murphys, because they themselves have no idea where to go with BiH without the full support of foreigners who would enable them to form a unitary BiH.

“Their only goal is to prevent everything that could be good for Serbs or Croats, without considering how it might also be good for them and their people. It is an illusion that they can install ‘their own Serbs,’ and they are aware that they will not succeed no matter how hard they try, because in Srpska it is the people who decide, and their stance is well known.

Considering the capacity and strength of the SNSD and its leader Milorad Dodik, backed by the people, and the fact that no fabricated verdict can force these same people to change their minds, it is clear that the latest events from the Sarajevo kitchen will only further strengthen people’s conviction that the SNSD and President Dodik are number one in Srpska,” Mrkajić pointed out.
