LAKTAŠI, OCTOBER 30 /SRNA/ – The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of Republika Srpska, Vojin Mitrović, says that the Srpska Government and the line ministry are doing everything possible to enable entrepreneurs to obtain incentives more quickly and easily in order to improve their business operations.

“I would like to increase the number of entrepreneurs applying for incentives and to secure even more funds for that purpose,” Mitrović told the press in Maglajani near Laktaši, where he visited the Masiv Stil Company.

He emphasized that this company’s example demonstrates that the city of Laktaši is an economic centre, for whose entrepreneurs more than BAM 13 million has been approved since 2019 in order to improve technological capacity and raise employee salaries.

“New business entities are opening in this area. Recently, the PMP Drive Systems Company opened its plants, BAM 65 million worth investment. Before that, the Mahle and Iskra factories opened their production plants,” Mitrović said.

He stressed that local communities, in addition to what they offer potential investors, should also enable them to obtain necessary permits more quickly.

“When an investor hears that in Laktaši and Gradiška such permits can be obtained within a few days, they will choose to invest in these cities,” Mitrović said.

Laktaši City Assembly Speaker, Srđan Blagojević, says that the city takes care of its entrepreneurs, supports them, and jointly resolves challenges.

“There are more than 1,000 business entities operating within the city, which proves this is a good place for investment, something that investors from Germany, Italy, and Slovenia have already recognised,” Blagojević emphasized.

Stanko Milovanović, the owner of Masiv Stil, a company that has been operating for 45 years, said that it employs 30 workers, is managed together with his three sons, and uses imported materials.

Milovanović noted that the company, which produces furniture and equips interiors, received BAM 107,000 in incentives from the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of Republika Srpska, and that the funds were invested in new machinery.
