BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 19 /SRNA/ – Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić said today in Banja Luka that the Government will have zero tolerance regarding any contact between government officials or employees and individuals from criminal circles.
Minić stressed that he does not want to speculate about the case involving the former general director of the University Clinical Center /UCC/ Vlado Đajić.
"Đajić will have the opportunity to prove what he claims. However, the very fact of contact with individuals from the criminal milieu will, for us, be met with zero tolerance," Minić said at a press conference.
He stated that the SNSD has demonstrated how committed it is to responsibility and hopes that citizens understand this.
"I am not prejudging anything, everyone is innocent until proven otherwise. However, there is a moral and ethical aspect related to contacts with criminal individuals, and that was primarily the reason for this decision," Minić said following the Government session at which Đajić was dismissed and Nikola Šobot appointed in his place.
The decision came after a compromising video involving narcotics surfaced in public, which Đajić claimed had been fabricated.
