MINIĆ: TRANS-SERBIAN HIGHWAY LINKING BANJA LUKA AND BELGRADE MAKING PROGRESS

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 9 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said today that the Trans-Serbian Highway linking Banja Luka and Belgrade was a historic and strategic project whose construction was progressing, adding that this was the most important thing.

"Everything else we are working on is also important, and we are making progress in every respect. In December, we will have completed the joint border crossing between Republika Srpska and Serbia. It is important that we are implementing strategic projects," Minić said at a news conference in Banja Luka following a meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Macut.

He noted that Republika Srpska and Serbia had significant cooperation in science, which, he said, represented an additional step forward.

"We want to integrate scientific cooperation by establishing funds. Everything Presidents Milorad Dodik and Aleksandar Vučić have done in terms of cooperation between Republika Srpska and Serbia will endure forever. This is cooperation between one people, with all the elements that imply unity," Minić stressed.

He expressed satisfaction with the pace at which cooperation between Republika Srpska and Serbia was developing.

Ministers from the governments of Republika Srpska and Serbia attended the meeting.
