BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 21 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić thanked the Diocese of Buda and the Serbian people in Hungary for steadfastly preserving their holy sites, customs and Serbian identity for centuries.

"By preserving our faith, language, Cyrillic script and culture, we maintain our ties with our ancestors and protect our children's future. It was a pleasure to attend an event that brings Serbs in Hungary, Serbia and Republika Srpska together," Minić wrote on X.

Minić attended the "Days of Serbian Culture in Hungary" event at the Republika Srpska Government headquarters tonight.

He stressed the importance of good relations between Republika Srpska and Hungary, as well as every nation's right to freely preserve its faith, culture and traditions.

"We are here to build bridges, strengthen ties and foster cooperation among Serbs not only in Hungary but around the world," Minić told Hungary-based Varoš RTV.

He emphasized that Republika Srpska's institutions would continue to support the preservation of Serbian national and cultural identity.

He singled out Grabovac Monastery in Hungary, which has endured for centuries as a testament to the spiritual strength and perseverance of the Serbian people despite numerous historical changes and challenges.

An exhibition was also opened as part of the event, serving as another reminder of the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the Serbs.
