TREBINJE, JUNE 18 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska wants to be part of the region's investment momentum and development drive, Prime Minister Savo Minić said at the opening of the international conference Building the Region in Trebinje, adding that the gathering should serve as a platform for ideas, knowledge and experience-sharing.
"I want this to generate good ideas and strengthen cooperation between the Government and the National Assembly in creating new regulations and measures that will deliver even better results", Minić said.
He noted that the conference is being held at a time when Republika Srpska is launching a major investment cycle worth BAM 6.6 billion and has allocated funds to projects in every local community.
Minić emphasized that development projects are underway across Srpska, citing the construction of a new urban area in Trebinje as one example.
"We have the capacity, and I see it every day through the construction of highways and energy facilities," he said.
He expressed hope that the Government would be able to contribute as much as possible to what he described as the largest investment momentum ever undertaken in Republika Srpska, stressing that Srpska wants to be part of the broader regional investment drive and expansion.
The two-day regional infrastructure and construction conference Building the Region opened today in Trebinje, bringing together leading figures from the fields of construction, infrastructure, energy, urban planning and investment.
