BANJALUKA, NOVEMBER 26 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said at a special session of the National Assembly that all budget obligations are being met regularly, and that Srpska is visible on the international stage thanks to the diplomatic efforts of its officials.
Minić added that, in this context, opposition criticism is unacceptable, as their arguments are inconsistent.
"Through diplomatic activities, we reach a situation where China, Russia, and the United States, for the first time in history, say something positive about Republika Srpska. Do you realize how significant that is?" Minić asked.
He also noted that the opposition previously claimed that sanctions imposed on officials equated to sanctions on Republika Srpska itself, but are now presenting a different narrative.
"Now that sanctions have been lifted, you say it is personal. Surely one can see who has been consistent in their statements," Minić said.
The Prime Minister noted that he accepts the results of the early presidential elections in Republika Srpska and added that the winner succeeded whenever he ran in Šamac, the candidate's home municipality.
"I have no problem discussing this. We visited small municipalities. We won in Jezero. We were there," Minić noted.
He added that while this is not a topic for the National Assembly, the opposition uses it to divert attention from what has been accomplished in the previous period.
"Tell me, where else is the quality and scope of healthcare better than in Republika Srpska?" Minić asked.
Minić also reminded that salaries, pensions, and incentives are paid regularly in Republika Srpska.
"We are aware that it is not enough, but it is regular," Minić stated.
He stressed that the economy, through tax relief, has received more than BAM 400 million.
