BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 2 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said that at least 7,000 police officers had been trained at the Republika Srpska Ministry of Internal Affairs /MoI/ Training Centre over the past 10 years and that they were today among the guarantors of the Republic's security, while congratulating everyone who took part in establishing the Centre.

Speaking at a ceremony in Banja Luka marking the 10th anniversary of the Training Centre, Minić stressed that all citizens of Republika Srpska could sleep peacefully.

"We do not have organized gangs or those who spread terror. Our officers are the ones who provide security to citizens and protect their property and lives," Minić said.

He said the Republika Srpska MoI was continuously investing in better training for its personnel, as well as appropriate equipment.

"The Government will continue to invest materially and in every other way in the MoI so that it can fulfil all its tasks and provide citizens with safety and security. We want a stronger, more beautiful and better Srpska," Minić said.
