MINIĆ: NATIONAL ASSEMBLY HAS CHANCE TO DISPEL MANIPULATION, STANIVUKOVIĆ SHOWED HIS IGNORANCE AGAIN

BANJA LUKA, JULY 1 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said the National Assembly, thanks to Željka Cvijanović's veto, now has the opportunity to put an end to months of manipulation within the BiH Presidency regarding the Commission to Preserve National Monuments, while adding that the leader of the PSS, Draško Stanivuković, is once again staging performances without any understanding of the issue.

"When an eternal and unfinished student tries to deal with serious issues, the result is usually tragicomic. Stanivuković has once again shown that he is ignorant and manipulative," Minić wrote on the social media platform X.

Minić said Stanivuković praises Mladen Ivanić and the 2016 Presidency decision, while overlooking the fact that it was limited to a one-year term.

"My question for him is why Ivanić placed a time limit on that decision and prolonged this problem, considering that he had a more favorable balance of power within the Presidency from the Federation of BiH than exists today," Minić added.

He pointed out it was shameful that someone who embraced Christian Schmidt in Banja Luka was now accusing the Serb member of the BiH Presidency of a betrayal that, according to him, never occurred.

"The essence of the matter is that, thanks to Ms. Cvijanović's veto, the National Assembly now has the opportunity to dismantle all the months-long manipulation within the BiH Presidency regarding the Commission to Preserve National Monuments," Minić stressed.

He said there are many differences between Željka Cvijanović and Draško Stanivuković, from education to seriousness, but that one difference stands out above all.

"While Cvijanović is transferring the decision-making process from the institutions of BiH to the institutions of Republika Srpska, in this case the National Assembly, Stanivuković is signing declarations with Bakir Izetbegović advocating stronger institutions at the BiH level," Minić emphasized.

According to him, these are facts that cannot be masked by cheap populism or even cheaper political performances.

The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović invoked the entity veto against the decision appointing members of the Commission to Preserve National Monuments of BiH, declaring it destructive to the vital national interest of Republika Srpska after it was adopted at a Presidency session held without a quorum.
