JAHORINA, MAY 12 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić has said today that the investments must be response to crises and that the Republika Srpska Government is ready to offer a secure environment for investment.
At a press conference following the opening of the Jahorina Economic Forum, Minić said that the upcoming national project plan shows that Republika Srpska is not waiting for what it should be doing together with the FBiH and BiH.
He stressed that the macroeconomic picture confirms the stability and resilience of Republika Srpska, pointing to GDP growth of 1.9 percent.
Minić noted that the Forum is discussing innovation, investment and digitalization, while it is still not possible to open the Gradiška border crossing due to the FBiH, which would enable faster and easier flow of goods, people and services.
"Joint institutions are blocking crucial projects, not to mention laws. There is constant noise. Instead of focusing on programmes, one has to deal with that," Minić said.
He stressed that projects in Republika Srpska must be accelerated and that he has instructed ministers accordingly.
"Dynamics means a faster pace," Minić said.
