MINIĆ: IMMEASURABLE CONTRIBUTION OF MEDICAL WORKERS IN STRUGGLE FOR SRPSKA

ISTOČNA ILIDŽA, SEPTEMBER 22 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said that the contribution of medical workers from the Sarajevo-Romanija region to the creation of Republika Srpska was immeasurable.

"You were part of a great struggle for Republika Srpska, and your contribution was, if not equal, then perhaps even greater than that of those of us who were on the front lines, because we knew that we had you, that we had security and that you would give everything you could," Minić said at a ceremony marking the presentation of decorations to doctors and medical technicians from the Sarajevo-Romanija region.

He stressed that the decorations are the least that Republika Srpska can do for them.

Minić added that it is difficult even to imagine the conditions in which medical workers operated and everything they had to improvise, but when he hears about the successes they achieved, it means that they had tremendous enthusiasm.

President of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan and SNSD President Milorad Dodik presented decorations today in Istočno Sarajevo to doctors and medical staff from the Sarajevo-Romanija region for their merits in the fight against the enemy, as well as their immeasurable contribution to providing healthcare services and to the creation and liberation of Republika Srpska.
