MINIĆ EXPECTS QUICK FORMATION OF GOVERNMENT IN SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 28 /SRNA/ - The government in Srpska will be formed very quickly once the procedure at the BiH Central Election Commission is completed, Prime Minister Savo Minić said in talks with the Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH, Rick Holtsapple.

Minić said he expects the National Assembly to be constituted quickly and a new Government to be elected, and expressed his expectation that the new executive will continue efforts to advance Republika Srpska's economic progress.

He stressed that it is extremely important for governments at all levels in BiH to be formed as soon as possible so that they can focus on solving the real problems citizens face, the Republika Srpska Government's Public Relations Bureau said.

Minić stressed that, once he takes office as President of the Republic, in addition to strengthening Srpska institutionally, he will also be committed to developing a favorable business environment and encouraging further economic development.

Holtsapple congratulated Minić on his election victory as President of Republika Srpska and noted that the use of new election technology had given the electoral process additional legitimacy.
