MINIĆ: BUSINESS COOPERATION WITH CHINESE PARTNERS SHOULD BE EXPANDED

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 4 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said that Srpska is undergoing a major investment cycle, which is why it is positive to expand economic cooperation between Chinese and local businesses.

In Banja Luka, Minić expressed satisfaction with the implementation of current and other major projects with Chinese partners, particularly those involving road infrastructure, energy, and healthcare projects in Republika Srpska.

"I believe there is already a certain level of confidence among Chinese partners, as well as among interested businesses from Republika Srpska, that we can now expand our cooperation into other areas as well," Minić told reporters.

He assessed that today's Republika Srpska Investment and Business Cooperation Forum for Chinese companies had been well prepared and would contribute to establishing greater compatibility between businesses from China and Srpska.

"I have no doubt that today's forum will enable an even broader range of cooperation between local and Chinese businesses, and the Republika Srpska Government is here to provide assistance in every possible way," Minić said.

The Republika Srpska Investment and Business Cooperation Forum for Chinese companies began today in Banja Luka in the presence of numerous Republika Srpska officials, as well as Chinese and local businesspeople. It was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and the Republika Srpska Government.

The forum, held at the headquarters of the Republika Srpska Government, was attended by President of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan, ministers in the Republika Srpska Government, President Milorad Dodik, President of the Republika Srpska Chamber of Commerce Goran Račić, BiH Ambassador to China Siniša Berjan, Director of the Republika Srpska Investment and Development Bank Nedeljko Ćorić, and numerous representatives of Chinese companies.

The forum brings together representatives of Republika Srpska institutions, the business community, and academia with representatives of Chinese companies and institutions with the aim of enhancing economic cooperation, presenting Srpska's investment potential, and creating new opportunities for business partnerships and investment.
