ŠEKOVIĆI, SEPTEMBER 10 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said today in Šekovići that, through Republika Srpska Government measures, BAM 76 million was allocated between 2022 and the end of 2025 to support young people in agriculture.

“Young people have chosen the more difficult path, but they will stay and work in Republika Srpska,” Minić said ahead of the opening of the third Republika Srpska Conference of Young People in Agriculture, which is being held in Šekovići this year.

He said that energy and agricultural production are the most important.

“Whenever a community has energy and food, it has independence and freedom,” Minić emphasized.

He said that another measure was implemented this year - the distribution of tractors.

“We have several young men who run cooperatives and bring young people together. We have a cooperative from Šamac called ‘Zemlja očeva – Terra patria,’ which brings young people together and was founded by the children of fallen soldiers. They demonstrate how strong the desire remains to live and work in Republika Srpska, while the line ministry works with them to develop support measures,” Minić said.
