MILUNOVIĆ: GDP COULD REACH BAM 20 BILLION BY THE END OF THE YEAR

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 6 /SRNA/ - Director of the Republika Srpska Bureau of Statistics Darko Milunović said today that the gross domestic product /GDP/ of Republika Srpska could reach BAM 20 billion by the end of the year.

Speaking about the Bureau’s official data, Milunović pointed out that, as of the end of 2025, GDP stood at BAM 18.7 billion.

At a press conference in Banja Luka, Milunović said that over a period of 20 years, the GDP of Republika Srpska had increased 3.3-fold, or by BAM 13 billion.

According to him, the first quarter of this year shows that GDP growth trends are continuing, as growth of 2.1 percent was recorded compared with the same period last year.

"According to the current indicators, Republika Srpska could achieve a GDP of BAM 20 billion by the end of the year," Milunović said.
