MILIVOJEVIĆ: CVIJANOVIĆ'S PRESENCE AT TRUMP RECEPTION SIGNALS GREATER RECOGNITION OF SRPSKA

BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 24 /SRNA/ – The US administration now takes the Serb side into account as well, and the presence of Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović at a reception hosted by US President Donald Trump is confirmation of that, diplomat Zoran Milivojević told SRNA.

"Željka Cvijanović's presence is a sign that the US administration now also recognizes the Serb side and confirms a change in the policy of the US administration toward Republika Srpska and BiH as a whole," Milivojević said.

Cvijanović attended a reception in New York hosted by US President Donald Trump for heads of state and government taking part in the session of the United Nations General Assembly.

It was the first time since 2014 that, in addition to the chair of the BiH Presidency, another member of the Presidency attended a reception hosted by the US president.

Ahead of the reception, Cvijanović met with Susie Wiles, White House chief of staff to US President Donald Trump.
