BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Tax Administration Director Goran Maričić said that BAM 2.812 billion was collected in public revenues in Republika Srpska from January to July, which is BAM 257.9 million, or 10 percent, more than in the same period last year.
Maričić said that, compared with the same period last year, social security contribution collections increased by nine percent, direct tax collections by 11 percent, and collections of other public revenues by 13 percent.
"As for contributions, BAM 1.722 billion was collected from January to July, which is BAM 141.4 million more than in the same period of 2025. Contributions to the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund increased by eight percent, while contributions to the Health Insurance Fund, the Employment Bureau and the Child Protection Fund each increased by 10 percent," Maričić emphasized.
He noted that direct taxes collected in the first seven months of this year amounted to BAM 692.7 million, which is BAM 70.2 million more than in the same period last year, the Tax Administration announced.
Maričić said the highest collection among direct taxes was recorded for income tax, which amounted to approximately BAM 329.2 million, an increase of seven percent.
"Income tax collections also increased, amounting to approximately BAM 321.7 million, which is 16 percent more than in the same period. Collections also increased for property tax, which amounted to BAM 28.6 million, or 13 percent more than in the same period last year," Maričić pointed out.
According to him, collections of other public revenues amounted to BAM 397.5 million this year, which is BAM 46.3 million more than from January to July last year.
A total of BAM 203.4 million was collected from fees and charges, an increase of 17 percent, while the same percentage increase was recorded in revenues from fees for organising games of chance.
"Collections in July amounted to BAM 404.4 million, which is BAM 24.7 million, or seven percent, more than in July last year," Maričić emphasized.
