MARIANI: SUPPORT TO SRPSKA OFFICIALS WHO ARE VICTIMS OF ILLEGITIMATE CONVICTION

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 22 /SRNA/ - Member of the European Parliament, Thierry Mariani, says that he came to Banja Luka to express his support for the Serb people and the Republika Srpska top officials, Milorad Dodik, Nenad Stevandić and Radovan Višković, who are victims of an illegitimate and terrible conviction.

"We would like to show that we, who understand what is happening here, also exist and we have come to offer our support. We support everything you and the Republika Srpska top officials are doing here. Not all French people are against what you are doing here," Mariani said at a press conference in Banja Luka after a meeting with Srpska President, Milorad Dodik.

He has emphasized that, unfortunately, the Dayton Peace Agreement is not respected and that now the peoples should ask themselves what to do the next and how to proceed.

Mariani has pointed out that their goal is to apply what is the right.

"I stand behind the fact that every people has the right to choose its future," said Mariani.

Mariani has reminded that he is part of the third strongest structure in the European Parliament and added that he supports that Srpska enters the European Parliament as part of its structure and says what it should.

According to him, it is paradoxical that they in France are experiencing the same Srpska is currently experiencing.

"Unfortunately, we are going through the same situation, something illegitimate is being demonstrated, just like what is happening to you. The European Parliament is in a similar situation where something is being proclaimed that violates the rights and respect for the law," said Mariani.

He says that Montenegro profited a few years ago as if they were a NATO colony, they agreed to it.

Mariani expressed his satisfaction that he spoke with the president of Srpska today, and reminded that he was in Banja Luka on January 9, 2022. /end/vos
